Here's a fabulous card by Lori Podolsky for Challenge #63 Anything Goes using Year of the Dog available HERE on AW.com and HERE on Etsy. Lori did some research on Year of the Dog and provided some interesting info on how she chose her colors.
"In order to balance the surplus of the Earth element, which is the main Chinese element of the Year of the Dog 2018, and whose energy is reinforced by the presence of the intrinsic element of the Dog, which is also Earth, lucky colors to wear for 2018 are colors that symbolize the element Wood (green) and the element Water (blue and black)."
She also mentioned that green cherry blossoms do exist. WOW! Who knew?
Finally, Lori also provided an adorable pic of her beloved Akita pup, Ishi. Notice the resemblance? Too cute!
